Needing a better Saviour

An overview of God's millenia-long rescue plan, as revealed in Hebrews 7, shown in Genesis 14 and Psalm 110 and culminating in Jesus.  Genesis 14 introduces Melchizedek (tr. King of Righteousness), king of Salem (tr. peace), priest of God Most High, who is shown to be greater than Abraham, the great ancestor.  Psalm 110 is a psalm of David in which the great king of Israel speaks of a greater king who will be a priest forever.  All of it points to our better saviour, Jesus.
