Mike and Rick answer questions submitted over the previous two weeks. Questions were:

How did Moses write Genesis?
“In the beginning God created the world” etc. He wasn’t there.
Do we have any other information from God about the universe?
(There is some information about the universe in Genesis. Is there information about the universe anywhere else in the Bible?)
What should I think of God as?
eg Spirit etc
Why can’t I hear God with my own ears?
Why did God rest on the 7th day of creation?
Did he need rest?
Is everyone in the world descendants of one couple?
Did Jepthah sacrifice and kill his daughter?
Surely they would not have allowed human sacrifice?
What are the company of prophets that have hundred hanging about in the times of the kings?
We read about them in stories of Ahab etc. Are they all prophets like Elijah and Elisha and the famous ones we know by name, or supporters, or what?
When you are in hell, can God pull you out of hell and make you alive again?
As we are the salt of the earth, does this mean that there will always be just a few of us scattered in the world?
Too much salt is not good.
Do Christians have to suffer more than non-christians in this world, or do we just suffer the same in this world of sin, and feel it more acutely?
